She was fortunate enough to chance upon photography at the age of fifteen, taking early fortes in self-portraiture and fine art photography. At only seventeen, she decided to start her own business – Lara Jade Photography. Beginning by taking on small clients, she was soon able to demonstrate a strong understanding of how to develop the commercial side of her business to adequately deal with the growing demand for her work. Lara’s momentum has continued to build; she is now successfully working within the fashion and advertising industry whilst also developing her personal portfolio and teaching workshops worldwide.
She is influenced by elements of influential style, film noir and the old masters in painting and photography. Her most compelling quality is her ability to colour her images with strong elements of romanticism and fantasy while creating the sense of an underlying narrative.
The design for your biography page is not as critical as the design for your homepage but it is still very important. Your homepage was your first impression. If the person who came to your homepage clicked through to your biography page then you must have done something right on your homepage. Now they are on your site and they are interested in who you are because you caught their attention on that first critical page.
The layout for this page can be a simple page with your information in the middle or you can create a table to list different things. For instance, you could place your biography on one side of the page and your stats on the other side of the page. Or you could talk about you on one side and your family on the other.
Always write in small paragraphs so your reader doesn't get bored. The Internet is a fast moving media and if it takes your reader too long to get through a paragraph then they are less likely to read the next one and you may lose them.
Also, don't forget to create a section to add the links to your other pages from here too. This way if they do like what you have to say they will be able to move to the next section of your site easily.
